Itinerary:

Zimbabwe and South Africa: 7 - 22 Sept., 2023

DAY 1 Depart USA arrive Cape Town for one night

 

Day 2 Arrive Cape Town, SA.

 

Day 3 Fly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your lodging, your home for 5 nights. Victoria Falls is one of the world’s 7 natural wonders and there are many activities and places to see and explore in this lovely little town. Bed and breakfast only.

DAY 9 -Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve

Fly from Vic Falls to Nelspruit, SA, and a guide will meet you and drive you to the private Safari Lodge. The lodge is in the Sabi Game Reserve, considered by many to be the premier wildlife reserve in South Africa, located on the banks of the seasonal Sand River. It is perfectly situated in one of the best big five game viewing destinations in Africa as the park borders Kruger NP along the eastern border. You will spend 4 luxurious nights in the bush enjoying 2 game drives each day, and a walking safari.  All inclusive.

DAY 13 - Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope, Boulder's Beach and Franschhoek

Fly to Cape Town and stay for 3 nights, downtown Cape Town. Here you are free to experience this magnificent city. I suggest on day 12 you take the cable car to Table Mountain, visit Victoria and Albert Waterfront, Robbin Island, Botanical Gardens, BoKaap, etc. I am happy to discuss CT tours and excursions in more detail with you.

Take a day trip down to Cape of Good Hope, the southernmost point in Africa, and visit the penguins at Boulder's Beach. On your last day there is plenty of time to join the trip into the wine lands areas of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for a day trip. After a lovely spring day in Franschhoek, and a superb and very filling picnic lunch with wine tasting at Boschendahl, you will be ready to take a long nap on your flight back to USA.

 

DAY 16 - Fly home.
