How It Works: The Planning Process

1. Consult & Personalize

First, you’ll complete the KapuAfrica Travel questionnaire, so I can learn about the kind of experience you’re looking for. Then, we’ll set up a time for a complimentary planning session, in person or via zoom, to get to know one another and preview the process with you. We’ll talk preliminary travel dates, ideas, budget, and related planning fees—and there will be plenty of time to get all your questions answered.

2. Design & Prepare

Next, I'll design your trip proposal around your specific needs, interests, and “must-do’s.” I’ll collaborate with you to finalize this itinerary, working with trusted travel partners in Africa to develop an exceptional journey from beginning to end.  I’ll book every travel component for you and keep you up to date on all deposit deadlines, vaccination requirements, and more.

3. Seamless Arrival & Support

The moment you land in Africa, you’ll be greeted by your personal guide, either myself or a local family member, and you can expect friendly guidance every step of your journey. We will be your personal guide, and accompany you throughout the trip. If you prefer to travel more exclusively,  I can arrange a guide on the ground when you want. You’ll have the numbers and contact information for the travel partners and guides in Africa,   You can also reach out to me at any time.
